How it works

What to expect.

i.
Prep

Come with clean, bare skin. No lotion, deodorant, or perfume. We'll talk through the tone and look you want.

ii.
Tan

The mist is hand-applied evenly, head to toe. Most sessions wrap in 20–30 minutes.

iii.
Set

You'll leave with an immediate bronze. The solution sets on your skin over the next 1–4 hours, then you rinse.

iv.
Develop

Cool-water rinse at the time we tell you. From there, your true tan develops over the next 24 hours.

Before your tan

Prep

  • Shower, shave, and exfoliate 24 hours before. Shaving's optional; exfoliating is not.
  • Schedule waxing, nails, facials, and massages a few days before. Spray tan should be your last beauty stop.
  • On the day of, come with clean, bare skin: no deodorant, lotion, oil, SPF, perfume, or cologne.
  • If your skin is very dry, a tan-safe moisturizer a few hours ahead is OK.
  • Wear loose, dark clothing, or bring it with you to change into after.
After your tan

Aftercare

  • Stay in loose, dark clothing until your first rinse.
  • Rinse at the time we recommend. First rinse is cool water only. No shampoos or soaps until the water runs clear.
  • Skip baths, steam rooms, pools, jacuzzis, and intense workouts while your tan develops.
  • Use spray-tan-safe body wash and moisturizer to keep the color even.
  • Moisturize daily and stay hydrated. Dry skin fades fastest.
  • For a big event, book a day or two before, not the day of, to give the color time to settle.

Frequently asked.

How long does it last?

Typically 5–7 days with minimal care. With proper aftercare and recommended products, up to 10–12 days. Moisturizing daily and staying hydrated makes the biggest difference.

Do I have to be nude?

Not at all. It's totally up to your comfort level. Wear old dark underwear, a swimsuit or bikini, or use the disposable underwear we provide. Whatever you wear may end up with bronzer on it, so don't bring anything you love.

How long does the appointment take?

30 minutes start to finish. The solution then sets on your skin for 1–4 hours before your rinse, and your true tan continues to develop for 24 hours after that.

When will I see color?

Right away. The bronzer goes on instantly so you can see exactly what's getting covered. The solution then processes on your skin over the next 1–4 hours. Once you rinse, your true tan continues to develop for the next 24 hours.

Is the solution gentle on sensitive skin?

Yes. The solution we use is plant-based and works for most skin types. Always tell us about allergies or skin conditions before we start.

When should I book before a big event?

A day or two before is the sweet spot, not the day of. Even with our rapid 1–4 hour solution, the tan needs the full 24-hour development window to settle, and you'll see less transfer onto your event outfit.

Can I work out the same day?

Light walking is fine. Skip heavy sweating until after your first rinse. Sweat can streak the developing tan.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Send a text at least 24 hours before your appointment, no charge. Inside 24 hours or no-shows are charged the $25 hold placed at booking. The full booking policy is on the homepage.
