Lamination, tint, and a clean wax. Up to eight weeks of flawless brows.

How it works

What to expect.

i.
Map

We look at your natural shape, your face, and what you actually want.

ii.
Shape

Hard wax and tweezers, worked to the line we mapped.

iii.
Tint or Lift

Tint fills in sparse spots and defines the edge. Lamination relaxes each hair so it sits where we set it.

iv.
Set

Brushed into place and conditioned. We'll show you how to hold the shape at home.

Care guide

Before and after.

Before your appointment

Prep

  • Let regrowth come in for at least two weeks. There has to be something there to shape.
  • Pause retinol, AHAs, and BHAs around the brow for five days beforehand.
  • Come with the brow area clean, and skip brow makeup if you can.
  • Recent cosmetic injections need seventy two hours to settle first.
  • Bring a photo if you have a shape in mind. It helps more than describing it.
  • Not sure whether you want lamination or just a wax? Ask, and we'll talk it through.
After your appointment

Aftercare

  • Keep laminated brows completely dry for twenty four hours. No steam, sweat, or washing the area.
  • Brush them into shape each morning with a clean spoolie.
  • Brow oil or conditioner daily keeps laminated hair soft instead of brittle.
  • Skip brow makeup for the first day so the shape settles cleanly.
  • No retinol or acids on the brow for a few days after.
  • A tint fades gradually over about three weeks. That's normal, not a fault.
  • Rebook lamination every six to eight weeks, a wax or tint every three to four.
Heads up

When to reschedule.

Wax and the skin around your eyes don't play nicely with everything. If any of these apply on the day, send us a text. Rebooking is easier than ruined skin.

Sunburn or fresh tan

Wait at least 24 hours after a sunburn or new spray tan. Skin needs to settle before it can be waxed safely.

Accutane

If you've been on Accutane in the past 6 months, your skin is too thin to wax safely. We can revisit once your prescription is fully out of your system.

Retinoids and strong actives

Pause retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and other strong actives on the waxing area for at least 5 days before your appointment.

Recent peels or lasers

Wait at least 2 weeks after any chemical peel, laser treatment, or microneedling before booking a wax in the same area.

Active skin issues

Open cuts, rashes, cold sores, or any infection on the area mean we'll need to reschedule until everything's healed.

Recent injectables

For facial waxing, give recent cosmetic injections at least 72 hours to settle before your appointment.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What is the difference between lamination and a tint?

A tint colors the hair, so sparse spots read fuller and the shape looks more defined. Lamination changes the direction the hair grows, relaxing it so it lies flat and covers gaps. Our lamination service includes both, plus the wax.

How long does lamination last?

Six to eight weeks for most people. It fades gradually rather than dropping all at once, and how long it holds depends on your hair type and how well you keep them conditioned.

Will lamination damage my brows?

Not when it's spaced properly. We check your hair first and time it accordingly. Going more often than every six weeks is what causes brittleness, so we'll hold you to the spacing even if you want it sooner.

Will this work if my brows are thin or patchy?

That's exactly what it's for. Lamination redirects the hair you do have to cover the gaps, and a tint darkens the fine hairs you can't really see. It's the closest thing to fuller brows without makeup or microblading.

Does the tint look harsh?

Not unless you want it to. We mix to your hair and skin rather than to a chart, and it's easier to go a shade deeper next time than to undo one that's too dark.

Does brow waxing hurt?

There's a quick sting and it's over in seconds. The skin around the eye is thin, so we use hard wax, which grips the hair rather than the skin. Ibuprofen twenty or thirty minutes ahead helps if you're nervous.

How long do I need to grow them out first?

About two weeks of regrowth. We'd rather work with too much than too little, since we can't shape what isn't there.

Can I book this after microblading or a brow tattoo?

Yes, once it's fully healed. Tell us before we start so we shape around the existing work rather than across it. If it's still healing, we'll wait.
